Our Call

Jesus came that we "may have life, and have it to the full," (John 10:10) yet we all encounter circumstances that threaten to destroy that life in us. Jesus anticipates this, warning, "In this world you will have trouble;" He then says, "But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

God has always been with His people in times of trouble. In these days, God has called and equipped, by both formal training and by life experiences, many people who are ministering healing.

Word of Hope Ministry is our response to this calling and equipping.

Ourselves

Mary Louise Reed graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Music Education, completing an MA in Performance from the University of North Carolina. She later earned a Bachelor of Theological Studies from the School for Deacons of the Episcopal Diocese of California. She did graduate studies in Pastoral Counseling at the Athenaeum of Ohio.

Peyton Reed graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Mathematics. He served in Viet Nam as an Army Engineer advisor, and later worked in data processing for leading high-tech companies. In recent years, he designed and built software systems as an independent consultant. He earned a Bachelor of Theological Studies from the School for Deacons.
